Panic Attacks

Panic attacks are sudden periods of intense fear accompanied by physical and psychological symptoms.

Symptoms might include heart palpitations, heavy sweating, a feeling of not being able to breathe, racing thoughts, fear of getting a heart attack or fear of going crazy.

When I experienced my first panic attacks, I had no clue as to what was happening to me. I had never heard of panic or anxiety disorder, nor did I know anyone with similar experiences.
